I just returned from Chicago where I was in the windy city to attend the American Society of Plastic Surgeon's annual meeting. Midst the Obama frenzy plastic surgeons from all over the world came together to discuss trends in plastic surgery. Hot topics included the latest updates in laser liposuction, (Smart Lipo and Slim Lipo) , cellulite treatments (Vela Shape) and the variety of new toxins (Puretox, Revance) and fillers (Prevelle, Scultpra). I was so smitten with the Slim Lipo melting fat and shrinking skin that I bought the unit and hope to offer the laser liposuction treatments as soon as December 1st.
A New York Times reporter approached me about plastic surgery trends in the Boston area midst the economic downturn of the last few months.
