Breast Augmentation, Liposuction, Botox Top the Charts in 2004

Cosmetic procedures up 44 percent over 2003

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) has released its plastic surgery statistics for 2004 which shows an upward trend in both surgical (17 percent increase) and non-surgical procedures (51 percent increase) in the U.S. Nationwide, the ASAPS reports nearly 11.9 million procedures were performed in 2004.

5. Facelift (157,061)

Top Non-Surgical Procedures
1. Botox injection (2,837,346)

5. Hylaform/Restalyne (882,469)
